Questions people ask before they buy
What size should I take?
Whole US sizes only, 4 to 13 — between two sizes, take the size up. The low vamp means there is no strap to hold you back if it runs a touch generous, and a toe against the front is the one thing you would notice. Not sure? Measure your foot heel to toe and open “What’s my size?” above the button: it lists the longest foot each size fits. The label inside reads the EU size — a US 8 is marked 38.
Is there a break-in period?
There should not be. The sole is soft from the first wear rather than stiff leather that has to give. If the pair you get needs breaking in, that is not what we sold you — that is what the thirty days are for.
Can I wear them in the rain?
A patent upper handles a wet pavement better than suede and wipes dry with a cloth. It is not a rain shoe, though — standing water will get in at the vamp like it does with any flat.
The limited-edition suede pair is for dry days: suede drinks water, and a wet mark stays.
Burgundy, black — or the limited edition?
Black disappears and goes with everything you own. Burgundy is the one people comment on, and it is the shade that runs through the bags and the knitwear — so it matches the rest of what we make.
Brown Suede and Leopard Suede are a limited run on the same last and the same sole — pick your size the same way. When they are gone, they are gone.
Do they work with trousers or only dresses?
Both, and the low vamp is the reason. A high-cut flat chops the foot and shortens the leg; this one shows more of the instep, so the trouser line runs straight down into the shoe.
Can I return or exchange them?
Yes — thirty days from the day they land on your doorstep. Anything damaged or defective is replaced or refunded in full, and we won’t ask you to ship it back.
