What makes it fall right

The jacket that ends the question of what to wear over it.

A cropped trench cut with a soft shoulder and a button front. It sits at the hip, it moves, and it goes over knitwear without crowding it. Turn the cuffs back and the plaid shows. In our palette, which means it goes with the rest of the wardrobe by construction.

30 days to change your mind

Wear it. Wash it. Live in it for a month.

If something isn’t right, tell us and we sort it out — usually the same day, always within one business day. No form to fill, no ticket number, no explaining yourself twice.

Anything that arrives damaged or defective is replaced or refunded in full, and we won’t ask you to ship it back.

You have 30 days from the day it lands on your doorstep.

Fabric & care

Fabric

Care

Spot clean. Do not tumble dry.

Structured where you see it. Soft where you feel it.

A point collar, a four-button placket and a plaid lining — three things a tailored coat has.

Then a cropped body, a soft shoulder and none of the stiffness — three things a weekend jacket has. You get the first list from across the street, and the second one all day.

It ends the question of what to put on.

You already know what you are wearing. The question is always what goes over it.

This is the answer often enough that it ends up living by the door — over a knit, over a tee, over the thing you did not plan. It stops at the hip, so it does not decide the rest of the outfit for you.

What you are actually getting

  • Cropped at the hip — doesn’t cut your leg line the way a long coat does
  • Point collar, four-button front — the trench signals, kept
  • Brown plaid lining — shows at the cuff and down the placket
  • Soft shoulder, relaxed body — layers over a sweater without pulling
  • Beige, Black, Brown · S–XL — all three in the palette

Thirty days, and a human on the other end.

Wear it. Live in it for a month.

If it isn’t right, tell us inside thirty days — a person answers, usually the same day, always within one business day. No form, no ticket number, no explaining yourself twice.

Questions people ask before they buy

I’ve ordered coats online that turned up looking like a costume. How is this one different?

Fair — that is usually a thin shell and a flat collar that will not stand up. This one has a collar with body, a four-button placket that sits flat, and a plaid lining that runs through the body and the sleeves. Turn a cuff back and you can see it. And if you disagree when it lands, you have thirty days.

Is a cropped coat going to work on me?

Cropped is the forgiving one. It stops at the hip, so it leaves your leg line intact — a long coat is what shortens you. It also means it sits above whatever you are wearing instead of fighting it.

Is it warm enough?

It is a fall coat, not a winter one. On its own it carries roughly 50–65°F; over a knit it goes lower. For deep winter it works as the layer under a bigger coat, not instead of one.

Is it waterproof?

No, and we won’t pretend otherwise. It handles a drizzle and dries fast, but it is a twill-look coat, not a raincoat. If you need to stand in real rain, take something else.

What size should I take?

True to size, cut with room to layer a sweater underneath. Available S–XL. If you are between sizes and plan to wear it over chunky knits, take the larger one.

What is the lining?

A brown and cream plaid, through the body and the sleeves. It shows when you turn the cuffs back and down the inside of the placket — it is the detail that does most of the work.

How do I clean it?

Spot clean, and do not tumble dry. The fabric is 100% polyester, so it holds its shape and its color as long as it stays out of the dryer.

Can I return or exchange it?

Yes — thirty days from the day it lands on your doorstep. Anything damaged or defective is replaced or refunded in full, and we won’t ask you to ship it back.

I got the whole suggested look with the trench and honestly it was the best decision. I would never have put those pieces together myself, but they work so well.

This is exactly the kind of trench I wanted. Classic, easy to layer, and it makes even jeans and a sweater look intentional.
