A Mary Jane, ready for winter.

A round-toe Mary Jane in a soft, matte faux suede. A curly cream faux-shearling collar turns over the edge all the way around, and the same cream plush lines the inside, insole included. A strap crosses the instep and buckles on the outside of the foot, with a row of notches so it fits over tights or wool socks. A small cord bow sits at the toe, on a thin flat black rubber sole.

US sizes, on the maker's chart; the label inside reads the EU size: US 4 = EU 35 · 36 = US 5 · 37 = US 6 · 38 = US 7 · 39 = US 8 · 40 = US 9, with insole lengths from 8 7/8 in (35) to 9 7/8 in (40), a quarter inch per size. Measure your foot standing, heel to longest toe, and pick an insole at least a quarter inch longer. Between two sizes, take the size up. The strap adjusts the top of your foot, not the length. If your heel lifts when you walk with the strap buckled, the pair is too long: exchange it for the size below.
30 days to change your mind

You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind. Send them back unworn, with their tags and packaging, and choose an exchange for another size or color, or store credit for the full amount you paid. Store credit never expires.

Brush the upper gently with a soft brush once it is dry. Keep the pair away from rain, snow and road salt. Let the plush air out between wears. The cream collar shows dust: a soft brush lifts it.
