What it actually does

The coat that lets your arms out.

It is long — it covers the bottom of your back and the top of your legs, so a cold bench, a car seat and a school gate stop being a problem. It is quilted, not puffed: warm through the body, still a long line. And it has no sleeves, because your sleeves are already on.

Full-length zip to a high collar, a hood, and pockets set into the side seams. Solid colors, no logo, nothing to date it.

It runs small: take one size up from your usual, so a sweater fits underneath.

30 days to change your mind

Wear it. Sit in it. Live in it for a month.

If something isn’t right, tell us and we sort it out — usually the same day, always within one business day. No form to fill, no ticket number, no explaining yourself twice.

Anything that arrives damaged or defective is replaced or refunded in full, and we won’t ask you to ship it back.

You have 30 days from the day it lands on your doorstep.

Runs small — take one size up

Fit

It runs small. Take one size up from your usual; between two sizes, take the larger one — it is made to go over a sweater.

Sizes

S fits US 4 · M fits US 6 · L fits US 8–10 · XL fits US 12 · XXL fits US 14. Length: 33½ in at S to 35 in at XXL. The chart under “What’s my size?” has every measurement.

Fabric & care

Fabric

Polyester shell, polyester fill. No down, no feathers.

Care

Hand wash cold, hang to dry. Do not tumble dry.

Two hours on a cold bench.

Saturday, ten past four. You are up and down off it forty times before the whistle, arms crossed, telling everyone you are fine.

This one runs 33½ inches down the back at S, 35 at XXL — past your hips, over the top of your legs. You sit down in it, you stand up in it, and the bench goes back to being furniture.

The sleeves were the problem.

Every coat wraps your arms in three inches of padding. Then you try to drive in it, or lift a toddler.

Take the sleeves off and all of it works again — you keep the ones you already have on. What stays covered is where the cold lands: chest, back, the top of your legs. Warm through the body, and still one long line instead of a ball.

What you are actually getting

  • 33½–35 inches long — covers your back and your legs
  • No sleeves — keep the ones you have on
  • Medium fill — warm, no marshmallow
  • Full zip, high collar, hood
  • Real pockets, in the side seams
  • S to XXL — runs small, take one size up
  • Nine colors — no logo, no down

Thirty days, and a human on the other end.

The only thing you can really get wrong here is the size. It runs small: take one size up, and you have thirty days to swap it.

Wear it, sit in it, live in it for a month. If it isn’t right, tell us inside thirty days — a person answers, usually the same day. Damaged or defective is replaced or refunded in full, and we won’t ask you to ship it back.

Questions people ask before they buy

What size should I take?

It runs small, so take one size up from your usual. S fits a US 4, M a US 6, L a US 8–10, XL a US 12 and XXL a US 14 — and between two sizes, take the larger one: it is built to go over a sweater.

The length barely moves with the size: 33½ in at S, 35 in at XXL. “What’s my size?” above the button has this piece’s own measurements, and it can read them for you from your height and weight.

Wrong size? You have thirty days to swap it.

No sleeves — will I actually be warm?

Your sleeves are already on — this covers what they don’t: chest, back and the top of your legs, under a medium fill stitched in channels.

Over a knit it is a fall and early-winter layer. Over a t-shirt in January, it is not, and we would rather say that now than read it in a return note.

Will it make me look bigger?

Fair question — most quilted pieces do. Two things stop this one. The fill is medium, not lofty: a quilted layer, not a duvet. And the line is long: a cropped puffer cuts you in half at your widest point, while this runs unbroken from the collar to past the hip. Long reads as a column. Short reads as a ball.

Is the fill going to come out?

This is the thing that ruins cheap puffers, so: the fill is polyester, held inside a woven shell and stitched into channels. The channels are what keep it where it belongs instead of sliding down to the hem.

If yours ever sheds, tell us — it is replaced or refunded in full, and we won’t ask you to ship it back.

Will the color match the photos?

Every shade is shown on the same piece, in the same light, so you are comparing them against each other and not against nine different photos. Screens still differ though — a color can land a little warmer or cooler in your hand than on your phone at night.

How do I wash it?

Hand wash cold, then hang it to dry. Never tumble dry — heat is what flattens a quilted fill and it does not come back.

Which vest is mine — this one, The New York Vest or The London Vest?

The New York Vest and The London Vest are short sherpa vests — texture, worn as a layer indoors and out. The New York Puffer is outerwear: long, hooded, quilted, and it goes over all of them. If you want sleeves, that is The London Trench. If you want rain, that is The New York Raincoat.

Can I return or exchange it?

Yes — thirty days from the day it lands on your doorstep. Anything damaged or defective is replaced or refunded in full, and we won’t ask you to ship it back.

This is exactly the kind of vest I’ve been looking for. It’s warm without feeling bulky, and the longer length makes leggings or jeans look so much more put together. I’ve already worn it way more than I expected 😂

Just got mine today and literally put it on five minutes after opening the package 😂 The fit is so cute and I love the olive color. It’s one of those pieces that makes a basic sweater + jeans outfit look way more intentional.

Okay, I wasn’t sure about the red at first but I’m OBSESSED. It makes such a simple outfit look finished without having to think about it. The length is perfect too — definitely one of my new fall staples.

The mustard color is even prettier in person. I wasn’t sure how often I’d actually wear it, but it goes with so many things in my closet. Super easy to throw on and instantly makes an outfit look styled.
