Questions people ask before they buy
Will one size fit me?
It is cut loose on purpose: about 55 inches around the bust, and the belt does the fitting at the waist, so you wrap it as close as you like. On a petite frame it reads roomy and long. That is the cut, not a mistake. If it is not right for you, you have 30 days to change your mind.
How long is it on me?
It measures about 47 inches from the top of the shoulder to the hem. Measure 47 inches straight down from the top of your own shoulder: that is where it will land. Measurements can vary by up to an inch.
Which slippers go with which color?
Here is how we styled them: Ivory and Red with the New York Slipper in Cream. Navy and Pink with Gray. Watermelon with Coffee. Black with Black. The slippers are sold separately.
Is it thick or thin?
Thick. The knit is thick, and the robe weighs about two pounds: that is what you feel on your shoulders when you wrap it. If you like a light robe you can forget you have on, this is not that one.
Can I wear it outside?
It is made for the house and the few steps around it: the porch, the mailbox, the driveway with a coffee. It is a robe, not a coat.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold inside a laundry bag, on a gentle cycle. Lay it flat to dry, away from a heater.
Is it a good gift?
It is one size, so there is no size to guess. Pick her color, and if you want the whole outfit, add The New York Slipper in the color it is styled with.
Can I return it?
You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind: send it back unworn, with its tags and packaging, for an exchange or store credit. Return shipping is on you. Anything damaged or defective is on us, and we won’t ask you to ship it back.
