Questions people ask before they buy
Will they slide down?
The rib knit is snug by nature, and the top ends in a tighter ribbed band, so it hugs the leg instead of hanging loose. Like any knit tall boot, it may ease down over a long day. A quick pull brings it back up.
Will they fit my calves?
There’s no zip over your calf. The zip stops at the ankle, and everything above it is stretch rib knit, so the shaft stretches instead of stopping at a zipper. Knit has a limit, though: on very full calves or thighs, it can sit a little lower than over the knee. Try them at home first. If the knit feels too tight, you have 30 days to exchange them or get store credit.
What size should I take?
Your usual US size: the size is for your foot. The foot is a closed Chelsea boot, so between two sizes, or with thick socks, take the larger one. The foot length of each size is under Size & fit, from US 6 to US 10.5. A wide foot takes the larger one too. US 11 and up: this pair will be too short.
Where will the top sit on me?
It’s cut to sit above the knee. On a petite frame, the top sits higher up the thigh. On a tall frame, it sits closer to the knee. Under a midi skirt or a long sweater dress, the top stays hidden.
Isn’t an over-the-knee boot a bit much?
Not this one. There’s no heel and no shine up the leg: a fine rib knit, a Chelsea foot, a lug sole. Under a sweater dress or a long skirt, most of the knit is hidden, and it reads as a tall boot, not a party boot.
Is it leather? Is it wool?
Neither. The foot is a smooth faux leather, and the shaft is a stretch rib knit. Care for both is under Materials & care.
Can I wear them in rain or snow?
The smooth foot and the lug sole are made for city sidewalks. The knit isn’t made for rain, slush or deep snow: on those days, keep your snow boots.
Where is the zip, and does it catch the knit?
The zip sits low on the inner side, from the top of the foot to the bottom of the knit. Pull the knit up out of the way, then zip.
Which color should I pick?
Black is the sleek one, with a black foot and a black lug sole. Cream is the soft one: a light cream knit with a cream foot and a cream sole, made for winter whites and camel coats.
Can I return or exchange them?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, unworn and in their packaging: an exchange for another size or color, or store credit for the full amount. Return shipping is on you. Anything that arrives damaged or defective is on us, and we won’t ask you to send it back.
