A faux fur slide you can step out in.

Two wide, puffy bands of soft faux fur cross the front of your foot. Your toes are open in front, your heel is open at the back. Underneath, a thick, flat platform is wrapped in the same faux fur on every side, so from the side you see fur down to the floor. A soft rim of fur runs around the footbed. Under it all, a black rubber sole with a tread, for a dry step outside.

Between two sizes, a wide foot or a high instep? Take the larger one: the two bands sit across the top of your foot. Only a narrow foot takes the smaller one, so it doesn’t slide forward. Wearing socks and right at the end of a size? Take the larger one too. A US 10 and up will find them too short, with the heel past the back of the platform.

The lengths follow the factory’s standard size chart and can vary a little from pair to pair.

You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind. Send them back unworn, with their tags and packaging, and choose an exchange for another size or color, or store credit for the full amount you paid. Store credit never expires.

Care

Shake the pair or brush the fur gently with a soft brush to fluff it. Spot clean with a damp cloth and let the pair air dry, away from a heater. After a trip outside, brush the sides. Keep them away from rain, puddles and wet grass.

Questions people ask before they buy

Order by your usual US shoe size, using the list under Size & fit: each size is one EU size, with the longest foot it fits. Between two sizes, with a wide foot or a high instep, take the larger one, because the two bands sit across the top of your foot. Only a narrow foot takes the smaller one.

On an open slide, both come from the wrong length. Too short, and your heel sits past the back of the platform. Too long, and your foot slides toward the front. That’s why each size lists the longest foot it fits. If the length isn’t right, exchange them for another size within 30 days of delivery.

The fur is soft. The platform under it is firm rubber, and we’d rather say it now: it doesn’t bend like a flat slipper, and there’s no memory foam. That firmness is what lets it go outside. The softness you feel comes from the plush footbed and the fur around your foot.

On a flat floor, yes. The platform looks the same height at the heel and at the toe: it isn’t a wedge. It’s still a platform, so take stairs slowly. If you’d rather stay close to the ground, the New York Slipper sits low.

For short trips on dry ground, yes: the coffee, the car, the mail, the patio. The sole is rubber with a tread, but the fur on the sides sits close to the ground. Keep them away from rain, puddles and wet grass, and brush the sides when you come back in.

Faux fur can leave a few fibers in the first days, and the plush flattens a little where you step most. A gentle shake or a soft brush helps both. We won’t promise it never happens, and anything that arrives damaged or defective is on us.
