Questions people ask before they buy

Does it shed?

A brushed scarf can leave a few loose fibers at first, and they show on dark fabric. Give it a good shake outdoors before the first wear, and try it at home over a light top before you decide. Once you know you’re keeping it, a cold hand wash and a flat dry usually settle it. We’d rather you hear it from us.
Are the colors true to the photos?

We name each color for the way it looks in daylight. Cream is a warm ivory. Royal Blue is a bright, deep blue: not navy, not purple. Cinnamon is a warm reddish brown. Wine Red is a deep red with a hint of berry, not a brown burgundy. Mushroom is a soft gray beige. Olive is a muted khaki green. Black is black. Screens vary, so if it isn’t what you expected, you can exchange it for another color within 30 days of delivery.
Is it mohair? Will it itch?

No mohair and no wool. It’s 100% polyester, knitted and then brushed, which gives it that fuzzy look. If wool makes your neck itch, that’s worth knowing.
How big is it? I’m petite.

About 94 by 15 inches, about 10 oz. Two turns around the neck still leave both ends hanging in front. If you’re petite, one turn with the ends left loose looks best.
Will it keep me warm?

Wrapped twice, it covers your neck and the top of your chest. It’s made for cool mornings, cold evenings and a sweater underneath. In real snow, wear it over a winter coat.
Which color should I pick?

Think of your face, not your closet: that’s where it sits. Cream and Mushroom are the softest near the face. Cinnamon and Olive are warm and easy with denim and camel. Wine Red and Royal Blue are the boldest. Black is the one you never have to think about.
How do I wash it?

By hand, in cold water. Lay it flat to dry. No dryer, no iron.
Is it a good gift?
